It is a good idea to take payment at the beginning rather than the end of the lesson. In any event, at least take the money for the lesson on the day of the test up front as there is nothing worse than taking a pupil home from a failed test and then saying ‘and that will be £40 please’.
Don’t allow payment to be deferred – under 18’s cannot be chased for debt and even if your students are older, it is unnecessary hassle you could do without.
