Why not? If the pupil is up to it and your diary is able to cope then meet your pupil’s demands. Now the reality is often they have not completed a theory test so I would suggest they have a two hour lesson while they apply and study for their theory test. When the theory test comes through we look at booking the practical test on a frame work that suits both you and your pupil. The reality with most test centre waiting times is that there will be an eight to ten week wait, so the two hour weekly lessons can continue. Six weeks wait until theory plus ten weeks wait until practical gives you at least 16 two hour lessons, which is virtually enough to pass. I spoke in an earlier chapter about meeting the pupil’s needs and intensive courses can add variety and new challenges, but ensure your pupil understands these delays may make intensive study impractical/unnecessary.
